Full moons bring big tide swings here at the shallow end of the Sea of Cortez. The effect was accented by strong on shores winds. Conveniently happening on a bright (though breezy) afternoon, waves could be seen encroaching where they normally don’t. Unfortunately, a number of homes in the Las Conchas area suffered some pretty serious hits to their sea walls.
