‘Rodeo Drive’ is the name given to the street heading towards the new Convention Center. Lined with shops full of things visitors might want, it will be the place to see Rocky Point’s first Day of the Dead celebration.
Dia de Los Muertos (in Spanish) is centered on the altares that guide the spirits of loved to come and have a visit. Altares, or altars, guide the spirits by including personal items, and other things that help them find their way.
Rocky Point’s first official Dia de Los Muertos celebration will include be full of people dressed as skeletons, or as Catrina, the elegant female figure who symbolizes the day.
