Casa Hogar is a place where the town’s oldest citizens are looked after. It is a Catholic charity that provides the needed attention that these citizens deserve.

Luckily, there are lots of people and organizations that help out with the care of the residents. Groups like the Rotary Club come by with warm soup. Every year the Soap Box, or Charanga Derby, puts on a fun race that raises funds for the Casa. Located on Blvd. Josefa, Casa Hogar contains its own chapel, a large kitchen, as well as a new gym.

This past week, folks from Casago stopped by to spend an afternoon with the residents. Along with sharing a meal, the Casago team brought along well appreciated gifts for the Holiday Season.
