Rocky Point’s Rotary Club gets out there and does good in the community in a lot of ways. The relatively new club has consistently gotten attention at the State and National levels of the Rotary Club, specifically for exceeding expectations of service, especially for a relatively small club.
Prior to Covid-19 and all of it’s needed social restrictions, the Rotarians had worked to bring an amphibious wheelchair to town, to make the cities main public beach accessible to all the towns citizens.
Now with things opening back up, the time is right to resume the use of the wheel chair (see below for info on how to sign up to use it).
The chair allows users to experience the beautiful Sea of Cortez up close with a splash in the waves.
