Representing Peñasco’s Rotary Club, Maria Conchita Peralta presented a plaque celebrating the work Colin’s staff put in to make the Fish Bowl a big success.
Happening the same weekend as the Super Bowl, the Fish Bowl spotlighted one of the towns main attractions- it’s terrific sea food! Rocky Point’s Rotary Club put the event together. In it’s first year, the Fish Bowl drew in a large and enthusiastic crowd.
Colin’s had a booth, and presented some of the great seafood that comes from their kitchen. Also on display were the fun and enthusiastic people who make up the crew.
Because of the great response, Fish Bowl II is in the works for next year. Proceeds from the event go to support the many valuable programs that the Rotary Club does around town. The current version of Rotary Club in Peñasco has been around for only a few years . AND it has relatively few members. Never the less, it has earned a reputation Nationally for being part of so many projects that help our community.
Colin’s Cantina was thrilled to be a part of this first ever Fish Bowl, and looks forward to cooking something tasty next year!
