Clean up time. You can help make Rocky Point´s beaches squeeky clean by showing up for the Annual Beach Cleanup event. The Ocean Conservancy pulls this together all around the world, and people come out in real numbers to make some of the worlds most beautiful places a little shinier.
In our town, CEDO (the Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans) organizes this event. CEDO is located in Las Conchas, and is well known for research and education that helps protect the wild world that surrounds Puerto Penasco.
