Rocky Point’s branch of Rotary Club International has a reputation nationally for being a small group that gets an out-sized amount of good things accomplished for the community. From helping with beach clean up, getting prescription glasses and dental services out to those in need, as well as setting up water treatment for a local school, recent Rotary initiatives have made a big difference.

Coming on February 2nd (Super Bowl weekend) will be the second annual Fish Bowl. Held in the Plaza Camaron (where else?), the fish bowl brings together all of the great restaurants serving sea food to show what they can do. Last years Fish Bowl was a popular success, and a great fund raiser for the group.

March 30th will see the first Rotary Club Charity Golf Tournament. This Tournament looks to attract some good players, with the event offering more than $40,000 US dollars in prizes.
