A new tradition in Rocky Point is the annual Charanga, or Soap Box Derby. Back in the day, the cool kids built mini cars out of whatever they had on hand, then pushed them to the top of the towns biggest hills, and raced down to glory, or a crash. Sometimes a glorious crash.This year, the revived Soap Box Derby will change to being once again all about kids. No adults
September 22nd will be the date for the first ever Sea and Sand Beach clean up, also known as Limpieza Mar y Tierra.Anyone can pitch in to help clean up the town’s playas. The clean up is being organized by the Local Rotary Cub, along with Rocky Pint Divers. The divers will be in charge of the ‘Sea’ portion of the clean up. They will dive at the Home Port
Sunday is The Super Bowl. Saturday, it’s The Fish Bowl! All of the best Seafood places in town are getting together to offer samples of Coconut Shrimp, Ceviche, Oysters, and more.The Fish Bowl is happening in the Plaza Camaron (Shrimp Park), right in the heart of the city. The Rotary Club is organizing this new event, and the hope is that it will become a tradition.

The 1st Annual Diamondbacks Charity Golf Tournament at Las Palomas benefitting the Casa Hogar Esperanza para los Niños. Our tournament offers a day of fun with Arizona Diamondbacks golfing at The Links Golf Course in Puerto Peñasco.100% of proceeds from this tournament will go towards helping Casa Hogar Esperanza para los Niños
